Return and Cancellation:
Order Cancellations Before Fulfilment:
- Customers may request to cancel an order before it has been fulfilled or dispatched.
- Cancellation requests can be submitted through the order status page/customer account area, where available, by using our customer account area, or by contacting us directly.
- Once an order has been fulfilled or dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled. In that case, the customer may submit a return or withdrawal request, subject to the conditions below.
Missing, Faulty or Damaged Items:
- If items are damaged, faulty, incorrect, or missing upon delivery, we may offer a replacement, credit note, or refund as deemed suitable.
- Customers should inspect their order as soon as it arrives and report any issue within 24 hours of delivery where possible.
- Reporting issues promptly helps us deal with the matter quickly and fairly. Damage or missing items reported after this period may be harder to assess.
- To support a claim, customers may be asked to provide digital images and a written statement confirming the issue.
- This does not affect your statutory rights.
Authenticity Guarantee:
- We guarantee that the product you receive will be authentic. Each perfume sample is hand-produced to order from the manufacturer’s original bottle.
- Fragrance preferences are personal and subjective, so we cannot guarantee that every customer will like every scent.
- Differences in personal taste, expectation, skin chemistry, or previous experience with a fragrance do not make a product faulty.
- Due to the nature of perfume samples, we cannot accept returns or exchanges based on personal preferences.
14-Day Cooling-Off Period / Right of Withdrawal:
- We recognise that mistakes can happen when ordering online. Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving their order, or within 14 days of receiving the last item in the order where items are delivered separately.
- To be eligible for a return under the cooling-off period, the product must be unopened, unused, in original condition, and with all packaging intact.
- For hygiene, safety, and product integrity reasons, opened, used, sprayed, tampered-with, or unsealed perfume samples cannot be returned, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
- If the packaging has been opened prior to return, the return may be refused.
How to Submit a Return or Withdrawal Request:
- Customers can submit a return, cancellation, or withdrawal request through our customer account area, the order status page/customer account area where available, or by contacting us directly.
- Submitting a request does not automatically mean the return has been accepted. We will review the request and confirm whether the item is eligible for return under this policy.
- Please do not send any item back before your return request has been reviewed and return instructions have been provided.
Manufacturer Variations:
- Fragrances may be subject to production variations, batch differences, reformulations, ageing, maceration, or changes made by the original manufacturer.
- Such variations do not constitute a fault in the product.
- While we guarantee the authenticity of our samples, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits based on perceived differences from previous experiences with the same fragrance.
Customer Responsibility for a Return:
- All return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or we have agreed otherwise.
- We strongly recommend using a tracked postal service to ensure safe return delivery.
- remiScent will not be liable for returns that do not arrive back to us.
Refunds:
- Once an approved return has been received and inspected, we will process the appropriate refund, replacement, or credit note.
- If a returned item does not meet the conditions of this policy, the return may be refused.
