François Demachy

François Demachy is a renowned French perfumer who has created some of the most iconic fragrances of the modern era. Born in Cannes, Demachy spent most of his life in Grasse, the fragrance capital of the world, where his father owned a pharmacy. After studying dentistry and physiotherapy, Demachy joined Mane and later studied at the school of perfumery company Charabot.

In 1984, Demachy joined Chanel, where he was appointed Director of Research and Development, collaborating simultaneously with the creation of perfumes of Chanel, Ungaro, Bourjois, and Tiffany. After twenty-two years at Chanel, he was appointed Director of Development for the LVMH cosmetics and perfumes division and Christian Dior's main nose in 2006.

At Dior, Demachy has created some of the most popular fragrances in the world, including Sauvage, Miss Dior, and Dior Homme. He has also collaborated in the production of Fendi and Acqua di Parma perfumes, both owned by the LVMH group.

Return and Cancellation:

Cancellations Before Fulfilment:

• Orders can be cancelled before they have been fulfilled or dispatched.
• Once an order has been fulfilled or dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled, but customers may submit a return or withdrawal request where eligible.

Returns and Withdrawal:

• Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving their order, or within 14 days of receiving the last item in the order where items are delivered separately.
• To be eligible for return, perfume samples must be unopened, unused, in original condition, and with all packaging intact.
• Opened, used, sprayed, tampered-with, or unsealed perfume samples cannot be returned, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
• Fragrance preferences are personal and subjective, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges simply because a customer does not like a scent, or because it smells different from previous experiences.

Damaged, Faulty, Incorrect or Missing Items:

• If your item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect, or missing, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of delivery, with photos and details of the issue.
• All return requests are reviewed before approval. Please do not send anything back before receiving return instructions from us.
