The opening glows with saffron and rose, rich and velvety, setting a tone that feels immediately opulent. The rose is dark and full-bodied, wrapped in the warmth of saffron, creating a sense of depth that hints at what’s to come.

At the heart, natural oud takes complete control. It’s powerful, smoky, and almost meditative, with a presence that feels alive on the skin. This is oud in its purest expression, not softened or diluted, but shaped with precision and intent.

As it settles, frankincense and sandalwood bring structure. The incense adds a resinous glow, while sandalwood smooths the composition just enough, allowing the intensity to remain but feel more refined.

Dominique Ropion

Dominique Ropion is a French master perfumer, born in Paris in 1955. He attended the Roure Bertrand Dupont perfumery school in Grasse to pursue his passion for perfumery. After completing his education, he started his career at the legendary Roure Bertrand laboratories, where he met his friend and collaborator, Frédéric Malle.

Over the years, Dominique Ropion has worked with several fragrance brands, including Christian Dior, Thierry Mugler, Lancôme, Givenchy, Issey Miyake, Yves Saint Laurent, Paco Rabanne, and The Body Shop. He joined International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. in 2000, where he continues to create groundbreaking fragrances.

Ropion's creations are known for their exact olfactory balance and flawless composition. He is a daring perfectionist who takes risks to create masterpieces that stand out in the industry. His perfumes are like great architectural feats, balancing excessive doses of powerful ingredients with meticulously measured, subtler accords, until the composition holds up on its own.

Return and Cancellation:

Cancellations Before Fulfilment:

• Orders can be cancelled before they have been fulfilled or dispatched.
• Once an order has been fulfilled or dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled, but customers may submit a return or withdrawal request where eligible.

Returns and Withdrawal:

• Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving their order, or within 14 days of receiving the last item in the order where items are delivered separately.
• To be eligible for return, perfume samples must be unopened, unused, in original condition, and with all packaging intact.
• Opened, used, sprayed, tampered-with, or unsealed perfume samples cannot be returned, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
• Fragrance preferences are personal and subjective, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges simply because a customer does not like a scent, or because it smells different from previous experiences.

Damaged, Faulty, Incorrect or Missing Items:

• If your item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect, or missing, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of delivery, with photos and details of the issue.
• All return requests are reviewed before approval. Please do not send anything back before receiving return instructions from us.
