1805 Tonnerre by BeauFort London smells like the aftermath of cannon fire carried across cold sea air. Launched in 2015 and inspired by the Battle of Trafalgar, it turns smoke, gunpowder, brandy and salt into something remarkably vivid.

The opening strikes hard with lemon, brandy and gunpowder: sharp citrus against the dry, metallic haze of spent powder. Smoke, sea spray and a blood accord deepen the illusion of a naval battlefield, giving the fragrance its strange mineral, almost industrial edge. Lime and bergamot cut through the darkness before the composition settles into fir balsam, birch and dark amber.

The drydown feels like salt-stained timber after fire: smoky, resinous and charred, but with enough balsamic warmth to stop it becoming purely abrasive. Tonnerre has a commanding presence and excellent staying power, yet its unusual beauty lies in atmosphere rather than simple strength.

• Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving their order, or within 14 days of receiving the last item in the order where items are delivered separately.
• To be eligible for return, perfume samples must be unopened, unused, in original condition, and with all packaging intact.
• Opened, used, sprayed, tampered-with, or unsealed perfume samples cannot be returned, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
• Fragrance preferences are personal and subjective, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges simply because a customer does not like a scent, or because it smells different from previous experiences.

Damaged, Faulty, Incorrect or Missing Items:

• If your item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect, or missing, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of delivery, with photos and details of the issue.
