As the owner of the Cotswold Perfumery, a traditional British fine perfumery shop that creates ultra high-end custom scents, John Stephen has invented fragrances for a veritable who’s-who of British aristocracy, all the way up to Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. That honor, in fact, landed him in a bit of hot water, when he proudly announced his creation of several personal and household scents for the residents of Buckingham Palace, supposedly against the instructions of the Royal Family. But what’s not up for debate is Stephen’s quintessentially British fragrance expertise, hard-earned through years of helping his mother create and later run the family business. Outside of the picturesque workshop setting, Stephen is also a nose in high demand, having created the entire first line of the universally acclaimed Boadicea The Victorious brand, for which he is still in charge of quality control and production.

Return and Cancellation:

Cancellations Before Fulfilment:

• Orders can be cancelled before they have been fulfilled or dispatched.
• Once an order has been fulfilled or dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled, but customers may submit a return or withdrawal request where eligible.

Returns and Withdrawal:

• Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving their order, or within 14 days of receiving the last item in the order where items are delivered separately.
• To be eligible for return, perfume samples must be unopened, unused, in original condition, and with all packaging intact.
• Opened, used, sprayed, tampered-with, or unsealed perfume samples cannot be returned, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
• Fragrance preferences are personal and subjective, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges simply because a customer does not like a scent, or because it smells different from previous experiences.

Damaged, Faulty, Incorrect or Missing Items:

• If your item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect, or missing, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of delivery, with photos and details of the issue.
• All return requests are reviewed before approval. Please do not send anything back before receiving return instructions from us.
