Douleur!2 by Bogue is a strange flash of cold skin, pink metal and saltwater air. Created by Antonio Gardoni in 2020 and linked to the tattoo artist Freddie Albrighton, this unisex niche perfume sits in that rare space where beauty and discomfort touch.

It opens with melon, cucumber, mint and camphor: fresh, watery, slightly sweet, but sharpened by a cool medicinal bite. Soon the fragrance turns stranger and more magnetic. Metallic notes, salt, watery facets and rose create the impression of a bruised aquatic floral — clean and unsettling, like a rose pressed against stainless steel beside the sea.

The base is where Douleur!2 becomes unmistakably Bogue. Oyster, civet, resins and benzoin bring briny warmth, animalic depth and a sticky balsamic glow. It is not an easy perfume, nor is it trying to be. It feels experimental, tactile, almost bodily — a scent for collectors who enjoy fragrance as art with teeth.

Cancellations Before Fulfilment:

• Orders can be cancelled before they have been fulfilled or dispatched.
• Once an order has been fulfilled or dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled, but customers may submit a return or withdrawal request where eligible.

Returns and Withdrawal:

• Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving their order, or within 14 days of receiving the last item in the order where items are delivered separately.
• To be eligible for return, perfume samples must be unopened, unused, in original condition, and with all packaging intact.
• Opened, used, sprayed, tampered-with, or unsealed perfume samples cannot be returned, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
• Fragrance preferences are personal and subjective, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges simply because a customer does not like a scent, or because it smells different from previous experiences.

Damaged, Faulty, Incorrect or Missing Items:

• If your item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect, or missing, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of delivery, with photos and details of the issue.
• All return requests are reviewed before approval. Please do not send anything back before receiving return instructions from us.
