Jean-Marc Chaillan

Jean-Marc Chaillan is a highly skilled perfumer with an impressive career in the fragrance industry. Born in France, he grew up in Grasse, where he was exposed to the world of fragrance from an early age, as his father was a well-known perfumer and industry executive.

Following his passion for fragrance, Jean-Marc pursued formal training at the renowned ISIPCA perfume school in Versailles, where he honed his skills and developed his unique creative style. After completing his studies, he began his professional career at J & E Sozio, where he worked alongside his father, gaining valuable experience and expertise.

Later, he joined the global fragrance and flavors company, IFF, where he has been a part of the fine fragrance department for many years. He has held various roles within the company, including Vice President, and Senior Perfumer. In this position, he has created a range of fragrances for some of the world's most recognizable brands, including Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera, and Elizabeth Arden.


Pierre Wargnye

Pierre Wargnye was born in Lille, France, and spent his childhood in Grasse, the birthplace of modern perfumery and a UNESCO World Heritage site. He was greatly inspired by the scents of freshly picked jasmine flowers and distilled patchouli, which would later influence his work. Wargnye earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Lycee de Nice before starting his career as a laboratory technician.

In 1980, Wargnye joined the fragrance and flavors supplier IFF, where he apprenticed with Bernard Chant in New York. He created iconic fragrances such as Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche and Pleasures for Men by Estée Lauder. Wargnye also collaborated with other perfumers on projects like Yves Saint Laurent's La Nuit de l'Homme and Diesel's Only the Brave. His work spanned across various brands, including Antonio Banderas, Calvin Klein, Davidoff, Givenchy, Hugo Boss, Paco Rabanne, and Yves Saint Laurent, among others.

In addition to his remarkable perfumery skills, Wargnye was known for his generosity and passion for mentoring others. He passed on his knowledge and love for the craft to younger perfumers like Celine Barel, ensuring that his legacy would live on. Pierre Wargnye retired in 2012 after more than 30 years of service at IFF.

Missing, Faulty or Damaged Items:

• Failure to report within the 24-hour window will be interpreted as an acceptance of the goods in their received condition. Damage reported after 24 hours may not be acknowledged for claims.
• To support a claim, customers are expected to provide digital images and a written statement confirming that the items arrived damaged.

Authenticity Guarantee:

•  We guarantee that the product you receive will be authentic. Each perfume sample is hand-produced to order from the manufacturer’s original bottle.
• Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will like it. Fragrance preferences are subjective, and individual experiences may vary.
• Due to the custom nature of our samples, we cannot accept returns or exchanges based on personal preferences.

14-Day Cooling Off Period:

•  We recognise that mistakes happen during ordering. Therefore, we offer a strictly conditional 14-day cooling off period from the date of delivery.
• To be eligible for a return, the product must be unopened, in original condition, and with all packaging intact.
• If the packaging has been opened prior to return, the return will be refused.

Manufacturer Variations:

•  Fragrances are subject to production variations and formula changes by manufacturers. Such variations do not constitute a fault in the product.
• We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits based on perceived differences from previous experiences.

Customer Responsibility for a Return:
