In the base, the fragrance becomes smoother and more enveloping. Vanilla and sandalwood add a creamy softness, while patchouli introduces an earthy edge that keeps the composition grounded. Olivier Polge

Born in Grasse, France, Olivier Polge is the son of legendary perfumer Jacques Polge, who served as Chanel's in-house perfumer for 37 years. Growing up immersed in the world of fragrance, Olivier initially aspired to become a classical music pianist. However, his passion for art and scents would eventually lead him to the world of perfumery. Olivier studied art history and later trained at the prestigious Charabot and ACM fragrance institutions, paving the way for his illustrious career as a perfumer.

Olivier Polge's journey in perfumery began as an intern at Chanel before he joined International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) as a trainee perfumer in 1998. At IFF, Olivier co-created iconic fragrances such as Dior Homme and Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb, earning him widespread recognition and acclaim. In 2009, Olivier received the International Fragrance Prize/Prix International du Parfum for his artistic achievements in perfumery.

In 2013, Chanel announced that Olivier would succeed his father as the house perfumer upon Jacques' retirement. Since then, Olivier has continued to create captivating fragrances for Chanel, including Misia, Boy, Chanel's No. 5 L’eau, and the 2022 men's fragrance BLEU DE CHANEL.

Return and Cancellation:

Cancellations Before Fulfilment:

• Orders can be cancelled before they have been fulfilled or dispatched.
• Once an order has been fulfilled or dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled, but customers may submit a return or withdrawal request where eligible.

Returns and Withdrawal:

• Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving their order, or within 14 days of receiving the last item in the order where items are delivered separately.
• To be eligible for return, perfume samples must be unopened, unused, in original condition, and with all packaging intact.
• Opened, used, sprayed, tampered-with, or unsealed perfume samples cannot be returned, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
• Fragrance preferences are personal and subjective, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges simply because a customer does not like a scent, or because it smells different from previous experiences.

Damaged, Faulty, Incorrect or Missing Items:

• If your item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect, or missing, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of delivery, with photos and details of the issue.
• All return requests are reviewed before approval. Please do not send anything back before receiving return instructions from us.

Do you offer refunds for variations in fragrances?
