Hamid Merati-Kashani

Hamid Merati-Kashani is a renowned perfumer, currently working with Firmenich. Born in Germany to an Iranian father and German mother, Hamid spent his childhood in Isfahan, Iran, surrounded by fields of roses, which sparked his interest in perfumery. He defines himself as "Iranian in education and German in the organization," and his upbringing has influenced his approach to his work.

Hamid is dedicated to his clients and believes in Firmenich's motto of "think client." He is a natural collaborator and believes in learning from others. He believes that "a successful person is an example to follow," and he is always willing to share his knowledge and experience with those around him. Hamid is a firm believer in giving back, and he believes that "the most important thing is to have enough on the table morning, noon, and night. If you have more than you need, give."

Hamid's work has taken him all over the world, and he has had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most prestigious fragrance brands, including Carolina Herrera, Jean Paul Gaultier, Valentino, and Yves Saint Laurent. However, he has a particular affinity for the Middle East, where he believes that consumers have developed their own unique olfactive culture. He states, "the Middle East has developed its own olfactive culture, and over there, the customer teaches me!" Hamid is inspired by the luxury and opulence of the Middle East and believes that "everything is bigger and more beautiful" in this part of the world.

Missing, Faulty or Damaged Items:

• Failure to report within the 24-hour window will be interpreted as an acceptance of the goods in their received condition. Damage reported after 24 hours may not be acknowledged for claims.

14-Day Cooling Off Period:

•  We recognise that mistakes happen during ordering. Therefore, we offer a strictly conditional 14-day cooling off period from the date of delivery.
• To be eligible for a return, the product must be unopened, in original condition, and with all packaging intact.
• If the packaging has been opened prior to return, the return will be refused.

Manufacturer Variations:

•  Fragrances are subject to production variations and formula changes by manufacturers. Such variations do not constitute a fault in the product.
