Erba Oud by Sospiro, created by Christian Provenzano, opens with a bright, almost sparkling citrus blend of bergamot, orange, and lemon. It feels lively and energetic at first, quickly joined by a wave of juicy fruits, peach, melon, and apple, giving the fragrance a lush, slightly playful character.

As it develops, the sweetness becomes richer and more textured. Saffron adds a warm, slightly spicy glow, hinting at the deeper notes to come. The transition feels smooth, but there’s a shift in tone, something darker beginning to surface beneath the brightness.

In the base, the fragrance reveals its full character. Oud and leather bring a dense, slightly animalic depth that may feel unusual to untrained noses, adding a raw edge to the otherwise smooth composition. Vanilla and amber soften this intensity, while white musk gives a clean, lingering finish that ties everything together.

Christian Provenzano is a Master Perfumer and Global Director of Perfumery at CPL Aromas, with over 50 years of experience in the fragrance industry. He has an undisputed reputation for creating successful and original compositions, and has developed an instinct for knowing what customers look for while adding his unique style.

"In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different," Christian once said. This motto shines through in the unique fragrances he creates, and he is recognized as an authority on Oriental and Arabic fragrances, with major successes in this sector.

Christian embarked on his career in perfumery with the Dutch firm Maschmeijer and later Naarden, where he trained in the laboratory. After a spell at Zimmerman Hobbs, he moved to take a position at Fritsche Dodge & Olcott, where he established his reputation as an international perfumer.

Return and Cancellation:

Cancellations Before Fulfilment:

• Orders can be cancelled before they have been fulfilled or dispatched.
• Once an order has been fulfilled or dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled, but customers may submit a return or withdrawal request where eligible.

Returns and Withdrawal:

• Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving their order, or within 14 days of receiving the last item in the order where items are delivered separately.
• To be eligible for return, perfume samples must be unopened, unused, in original condition, and with all packaging intact.
• Opened, used, sprayed, tampered-with, or unsealed perfume samples cannot be returned, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
• Fragrance preferences are personal and subjective, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges simply because a customer does not like a scent, or because it smells different from previous experiences.

Damaged, Faulty, Incorrect or Missing Items:

• If your item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect, or missing, please contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of delivery, with photos and details of the issue.
• All return requests are reviewed before approval. Please do not send anything back before receiving return instructions from us.
